Here is a list of the major sporting events for the Year 2022.
Can't find an event? Not every sporting event can be listed on this calendar, though we have tried to include all the big sporting events of the major sports, mostly the international competitions. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many major sporting events continue to be canceled or postponed, and changes to this list can happen regularly.
Major events for the 2022 calendar include the FIFA World Cup, Winter Olympics, Winter Paralympics, Commonwealth Games, the World Games, Invictus Games, World Masters Games, South American Games, Rugby League World Cup, Rugby World Cup (Women), as well as the usual annual events.
