Camogie - Women's Hurling

Camogie is an Irish contact sport that is played by women. It is very similar to Hurling that is played by men. Camogie is played by a huge number of women in Ireland and worldwide.

The game is played with a curved wooden stick called a hurley and a small ball called a sliotar. The game is played by two teams with fifteen members on each side. The field is 130 meters to 145 meters long, and 80 meters to 90 meters wide.

The goals used are H-shaped. The objective is to score points by striking the sliotar with the hurley into the opposing team's goal worth three points or over the crossbar for a point. The team with the highest score at the end of the game wins.
