Where else have they played AFL games?
There are grounds no longer in use that were once regular playing grounds, such as Waverly, Victoria Park (Collingwood), Princes Park (Carlton, Hawthorn), Subiaco Oval (West Coast and Fremantle).
- Hawthorn played at Glenferrie Oval (1925–1973)
There are also occasional games played at other stadiums, such as the interstate games and overseas games.
- Hawthorn have played games in Tasmania at Bellerive Oval and University of Tasmania Stadium.
- North Melbourne play games at Manuka Oval in Canberra
- Games have been played in Marrara Stadium in Darwin
- Gold Coast have played at Cairns' Cazalys Stadium
