Adelaide Oval, located in South Australia's capital Adelaide, is predominantly used for cricket and Australian rules football. The original ground was established in 1871. The current design is a result of a significant redevelopment in 2011–2014.
The current capacity of the ground is listed as 53,583. The record sporting crowd at the ground was for an Australian rules football match was 62,543 at the 1965 SANFL Grand Final between the Port Adelaide and Sturt.
