Dodgeball Tag - a new sport

Dodgeball Tag is a new sport invented by Thomas Contrata and Patrick Carlton from New York in 2022. It is Dodgeball with a Tag element added.

Summary

Dodgeball with a tagger. Classic game of dodgeball with a twist; A tagger is introduced. They can cross the middle line and tag a player on the opposing team and the tagged player will be out along with another member of the opposing team. If the tagger is hit with a ball while attempting to tag a player, the said tagger is out along with a teammate.

Equipment Required: Normal Indoor Gym Dimensions. 10 dodgeballs. Middle line to separate the sides.

Description

Max of 10 per team on the floor. If there's more than six per team you can have two taggers. Two teams. Subs are allowed but only between matches. Best of 5 series. There's your regular players and a designated tagger only your team knows of. The tagger can cross the middle line that nobody else can cross to tag an opposing teams player. If a teammate catches a ball a player on your team can be released back into the game. The objective is to eliminate the other team.
