Foot-Bucket Ball is a new sport invented by Elana Fitch from Vestal, NY in February 2022. The sport combines concepts of football and basketball in one.

Equipment Required: Bucket (can be raised), Football

Sport Description

• The aim is to score more points than your opponent. Be able to understand football and basketball so you can dominate. 
• Teams: 2 teams, 5 people start, subs for each team that can rotate
• Positions:  Offense (Quarterback, running back, wide receiver, center),Defense (Defensive backs)
• Time played: 4 quarters lasting 5 minutes, no breaks in between. Teams can pause game for subs to come in. 
  Overtime: Lasts 8 minutes, coin toss between captains to see who starts with the ball. 
• Refs: involved to place ball down for the center, call fouls, perform coin toss.

How to score: 

1. Quarterback rushes, passes or tosses the ball to receiver for a touchdown (worth 6 points) 
   
2. Player who is holding the ball can shoot the ball into a bucket for 3 points for a "bucket"
   
3. Offense can do a 2 point conversion after scoring a touchdown
   
4. Defensive back intercepts a pass and runs it into the endzone for a touchdown (6 points) or shoots it for a bucket (3)
   
5. If there are fouls, free tosses allowed with football (worth 1 point)

Rules: 

1. No tackling - penalty/foul
   
2. No dribbling (should be self explanatory why)
   
3. DO not throw the ball at someone's head - flag 
   
4. No touching other players - foul
