Here are a selection of fitness test results from the State Screening part of the 2019 AFL draft combine. In addition to the players that were tested in Melbourne, the next level of players are invited to attend a state combine event (see list of players tested), held in Melbourne (October 4-5, at the State Netball & Hockey Centre), Adelaide (October 123, at Prince Alfred College) and Perth (October 13, at the UWA Recreation Centre).
The protocol used is slightly different to that used at the main AFL combine - at the state screenings the players complete all the tests in just one day compared to the national combine where the tests were spread over several days with much more time for recovery.
