The 2019 Copa América was held in Brazil. It was the 46th edition of the tournament.
The tournament was played between June 14 and July 7, in the five Brazilian cities: San Pablo, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre.
Group A comprised host Brazil, with Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru. In Group B, there was Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay and Qatar (guest country). Group C was made up of Uruguay, Ecuador, Japan (guest) and Chile.
Trivia
- The mascot for 2019 was Zizito, a capybara. The friendly rodent, was named "Zizito" in honor of the legendary Brazilian footballer Zizinho. See more about Copa América Mascots.
