1989 Copa América in Brazil
The 1989 Copa América was held in Brazil. It was the 34th edition of the tournament.
The tournament saw the participation of the ten CONMEBOL nations—Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
In the final, Brazil emerged victorious by defeating Uruguay 1-0, securing their fourth Copa América title.
