Here are the top earning Australian sports people for the year 2008, as published by the Business Review Weekly (BRW) magazine. Just the top 10 of their "Top 50 Sports Earners" list is shown. The list is compiled by BRW journalists and includes gross wages, prize money, sponsorships and endorsements. Golfer Greg Norman is top of the list, as he has been everytime since the BRW top earners list was first published. There were 15 golfers in the top 50 list, including two females Karrie Webb and Katherine Hull. There were no rugby players from either code and only one AFL player, Carlton captain Chris Judd ($1.1 million) in the top 50.
