The PACER Test is a shuttle type aerobic fitness test (like the Beep Test), and is part of the FitnessGram and Brockport test battery. There are two versions, the 15m and the 20m version. 'Laps' is the total number of laps completed.
Use this chart to convert scores on the 15m PACER to a 20m score to enter in the FitnessGram software. Chart data provided by FitnessGram. On a smaller screen it may be difficult to read the umbers. You will see it better on a desktop computer, or you may be able to zoom in.

How do you calculate Vo2 max in the 15m version? - Dana Masters (2020)
So the goal is to determine VO2Max right?
When you run the 15 meter pacer (vs the 20 meter) your heart rate jumps up real quick because of the faster pace. Therefore, you cannot run as many laps. So this makes no sense to me. If the 15 meter pacer is more difficult, why do students have to run more laps? - Nathan Little (2018)
So when I gave the FitnessGram test at my school I accidentally played the audio for the 20m Pacer Test but gave the 15m Pacer Test. Is there anyway to convert my students data to the 15m Pacer Test data? - Meggen Lowry (2014)
I don't understand the table.
1) What exactly do you mean by laps?
2) Why has someone done MORE laps when they ran a 15m distance between every beep, than someone who ran a 20m distance. They ran the same number of times up and back, but the 20m test requires a longer distance.... - Winona Kelly Meggen Lowry (2018)
The "lap" is basically going from side to side on a gym floor. i just don't understand the point of the pacer test in school. like what are we gonna learn from that other than that we are out of shape, lol. - Rob Admin Meggen Lowry (2014)
It takes more 15m laps to cover the same distance if running 20m laps - Al (2014)

Where can you find the total amount of laps your to do according to your height and weight - Rob Admin Love (2014)
You may find norms based on age, but not height and weight - Dana Masters Rob (2020)
Basically we started telling kids that we cannot tell them how many laps they must run in order to achieve HFZ because it is based on their height and weight. We tell them to push themselves and do their best. Is this the recommended approach?
