2006 NHL Entry Draft Combine Results
The annual NHL Entry Draft combine assessment involves interviews, medical screenings, and fitness tests over a four-day period. Here are the results of the fitness assessments (See details of the testing procedures) for the 2006 NHL Scouting Combine. The 2006 NHL Combine took place at the Park Plaza Toronto Airport Hotel, Toronto, Ontario, from May 30 through June 4. Attending were 109 of the world’s top hockey prospects.
Central Scouting have not released all the results of the physical testing for 2006, except to the NHL member teams. We, however, have the average scores and ranges for each of the tests. See other NHL Entry Draft Combine Results.
The Tests:
- Tests of upper body strength, hand grips, and a seated ball throw and bench press (150 lbs)
- Push-ups and curl-ups
- Three measures of leg strength were performed (long jump, standing jump, and a vertical jump.
- Anaerobic power ("windgate")
- Aerobic power test
Results
For each test component there are three scores: the average, highest and lowest score is shown.
