Best NFL Combine Test Results
These are the best results for each of the NFL Combine fitness tests (since 1999). The data is compiled from results as listed on NFLDraftScout.com, NFL.com (since 2006) and a few other sources. The NFL do not keep official records for combine results, so these are unofficial, and are not all verified, but as far as we can discern they are correct. There was no central 2021 combine held. For a description of each of these tests, see the page About the NFL Combine.
40-Yards Results
The 4.22 secs by John Ross in 2017 is the best result since 2009. Bo Jackson reportedly recorded a hand-timed 4.12 second 40 yard dash time in 1986. Also hand timed, Deion Sanders recorded a 4.19 sec in 1989, though another source has it that he was 'officially' recorded as 4.28 secs on this day.
