What is your favorite 2012 Olympic Games sport?

There were 26 sports at the Olympic Games in London 2012 - what was your favorite? This poll results have been archived as there have been changes to the Olympic sports list with rugby and golf recently added. You can now vote on your favorite sport from the current Olympic sports list.

We also realized that our definition of sports is different to the IOC, and although synchronized swimming is listed here, it actually comes under the banner of swimming (aquatic sports), as does diving and water polo. Out of a total of 585 votes, the favorite sport was found to be gymnastics with 23% of the votes, followed by swimming and athletics (13% each). Also see the poll on the favorite Winter Olympic Games sport.
