1984 UEFA Euro Championship, France

The victory was sealed by a free-kick from Michel Platini in the 57th minute, who was the tournament's standout player, and an injury-time goal from Bruno Bellone. Platini's performance was historic, as he scored nine goals in five matches, setting a record for the most goals scored in a single European Championship, a record that still stands.
