The tournament saw the participation of the ten CONMEBOL nations—Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
In the final, Uruguay triumphed over Chile with a 1-0 victory, securing their 13th Copa América title.
