1935 Copa América in Peru
The 1935 Copa América was held in Peru. It was the 13th edition of the tournament.
The tournament saw the participation of four CONMEBOL nations—Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.
The event was conducted in a round-robin format where each team played against the others once, and Uruguay emerged as the winner by finishing at the top of the standings, claiming their seventh Copa América title.
Trivia
- At the time the tournament was named the South American Championship. It was not called the Copa América until after 1967.
