2026 Commonwealth Games - Glasgow, Scotland
In 2023, Victoria pulled out of hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games. A year later, Glasgow was announced as the new host.
The XXIII (23rd) Commonwealth Games will NOT be held in regional Victoria.

Trivia
- Two new countries which joined the Commonwealth in 2022 are expected to make their debut in 2026, Gabon and Togo.
- The two other cities to have hosted Commonwealth Games more than once are Auckland (1950, 1990) and Edinburgh (1970, 1986).
