The Millennium Stadium is a sports stadium located in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. The stadium is the national stadium of Wales, and the home of the Wales national rugby union team. It was originally built to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup, and has hposted many major sporting events since.
The stadium is also used for the national football team. Between 2001 and 2006, the FA Cup Final was moved to Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, due to Wembley’s rebuilding and reconstruction.
The stadium has a total seating capacity of 73,931. It is the second-largest stadium in the world with a fully retractable roof.
