Helsinki Olympic Stadium (Olympiastadion)

The Helsinki Olympic Stadium (Olympiastadion) is located in close to the centre of Helsinki. The stadium was first built for the canceled 1940 Olympics, and had to wait until 1952 to be used at the Olympic games. In 1952, the athletics, equestrian jumping, and football final was played at the stadium.

The stadium is the largest stadium in Finland, now mainly used for sports events and big concerts. It is the home stadium of the Finland national football team.
