Milan & Cortina d'Ampezzo 2026 Winter Olympics Venue List

The Winter Olympics in 2026 will be the first Olympic Games officially featuring multiple host cities - Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

It will be the first Winter Olympics since Sarajevo 1984 where the opening and closing ceremonies will be held in different venues. The San Siro Stadium in Milan will host the opening ceremony. The closing is scheduled for Verona Arena.

The sports of figure skating, speed skating, short track, and ice hockey competitions are planned for Milan, the remainder for Cortina d'Ampezzo, except for the first time a sport will be conducted outside of the Winter Olympics host country. The sliding sports for Milan Cortina 2026 is expected to be held outside of Italy.
