The 1996 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XXX, was played on January 28, 1996 at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. This game saw the Dallas Cowboys defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 27-17.
The Cowboys dominated the game, with quarterback Troy Aikman throwing for 209 yards and two touchdowns, and Emmitt Smith scoring two touchdowns. Dallas's defense was also strong, holding the Steelers to just 17 points and forcing two turnovers.
This was the fourth Super Bowl win for the Dallas Cowboys in five years and marked the continuation of a successful period for the franchise.
