The 1967 Super Bowl, now known as Super Bowl I, was played on January 15, 1967 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. This game, a playoff between the AFL and NFL champions, saw the Green Bay Packers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 35-10. The game at the time was called the "World Championship of Professional Football"
The Packers dominated the game, with quarterback Bart Starr throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns to earn the MVP award. Green Bay's defense was also strong, holding the Chiefs to just 10 points and forcing four turnovers.
