Russia's men's national football team qualified for the UEFA European Championship (the Euros) six times - in 1996 and from 2004 to 2020. Out of their six appearances, the team's best performance was coming 3rd in 2008.
Prior to 1996, Russian players were part of the CIS team in 1992, and before that were part of the Soviet Union team.
The Russian team was banned form competing in the Euro 2024 as a consequence of their war against Ukraine.
