Their best performance was finishing 2nd in 2020. The team was also third in 1968.

- 2012: Quarter-finals - Lost to Italy in a penalty shootout.
- 2016: Round of 16 - Lost to Iceland.
- 2020: Runner-up - Lost to Italy in a penalty shootout at Wembley Stadium
- 2024: Runner-up - Lost to Spain 2-1 in the final
